Overview
First time client, Zendesk engaged us to design and deliver a memorable end-of-year celebration for their team in Sydney. The objective was to bring colleagues together after a busy year to recognise achievements, strengthen relationships, and create a relaxed environment for social connection.
The event welcomed approximately 70 guests, including sales staff, engineers, and team members from across the organisation. Hosted in Sydney’s CBD, the location ensured easy accessibility for attendees travelling from different parts of the city.
Despite a tight delivery timeline of under three weeks, our team curated a polished and engaging event experience that balanced light formalities with vibrant entertainment and immersive styling.
Event Objectives
The client wanted the evening to achieve several key outcomes:

Concept and Theme
Speakeasy-Inspired Celebration
The event concept drew inspiration from the classic speakeasy era, blending vintage glamour with a modern social atmosphere. The theme encouraged guests to dress up and enjoy a stylish evening reminiscent of a hidden cocktail lounge.

A curated mood board was presented to the client early in the planning process to align on the creative direction and visual aesthetic.

Located near Darling Harbour and the Barangaroo precinct, this venue offers a distinctive jungle-inspired atrium and a relaxed yet sophisticated setting. Red Carpet Paparazzi Experience
Guests were welcomed like celebrities with a playful red-carpet arrival, complete with flashing cameras and mock media interviews. The activation set a glamorous tone and encouraged guests to embrace the theme.

Sky-High Champagne Aerialist
A breathtaking aerial performer served champagne while suspended above guests, creating a dramatic and elegant highlight moment that transformed the traditional toast into a captivating spectacle.

Botanical Roaming Performers
Graceful roaming performers dressed as botanical beauties moved throughout the venue, creating whimsical moments and adding visual theatre to the space.

Interactive Photo Booth
A digital selfie booth allowed guests to capture photos, GIFs, and boomerangs, with instant sharing via SMS, email, or AirDrop. Custom props and themed backgrounds ensured guests could take home personalised keepsakes.

Professional Photography
A dedicated photographer captured candid moments and key highlights, ensuring the company had professional imagery to commemorate the celebration.
